We believe that acting is more than just an art form, it is a way for people to get in touch with their emotions, confront them and harness them.
The Gaia Centre’s Drama course helps learners experience what it is like to step into someone else’s shoes, focusing on characterization, improvisation skills, and creative expression in order to embody a persona. In addition to providing students with the skills to become bold actors and actresses, the course also aims to give them the confidence to be comfortable with themselves and their personality no matter what they do, whilst exploring the rich culture that comes from theatre, poetry, movies, and literature.
The skill sets provided in our Drama course intends to inspire passion within our learners so that they may continue to grow as dramatic performers and passionate individuals. Keeping in mind the practical aspect of our methodology, Drama students are given the opportunity to perform at various platforms and event in the region, and can also be part of The Gaia Centre’s Annual Theatre Production, Dreamspeak. Learners also take undergo training for numerous Acting and Speaking exams with Trinity College London Certification. This provides a solid benchmark and critique for the progress and craft.
